Nursing Scholarships

In recognition of the importance of the nursing profession to our members and our community, Direct Financial, a division of New England Federal Credit Union, is proud to support and assist individuals who wish to pursue a nursing career through financial scholarships for appropriate training at accredited institutions. NEFCU awards one $3,000 scholarship yearly to Direct Financial members applying to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program.

The deadline for submission has ended. Scholarship recipents will be notified by April 21, 2023.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Scholarships

Inspired by the National Science Foundation, Direct Financial, a division of New England Federal Credit Union, is helping to increase the number of individuals who choose careers in the hard sciences by providing annual scholarships to applicants who best demonstrate their commitment to science, technology, engineering or mathematics. NEFCU awards one $3,000 scholarship yearly to Direct Financial members applying to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate science program.

Our 2023 S.T.E.M. Scholarship application is now available. All applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2023.
