Money Movement Services

Electronically transfer funds to and from your NEFCU accounts with ease. We offer two solutions on NEFCUOnline for getting your money where you need it without stepping foot outside of your home or writing a check:   

  • Zelle®  ̶  Connecting people through money!
    Primary and Joint account holders are eligible.

  • External Funds Transfer  ̶  Electronic transfers between your accounts and other accounts you own. 
    Only Primary account holders are eligible.

To use these services, you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States.

At this time, business and specialty accounts such as trust, and estate, are not eligible.

Other qualifications, limits and restrictions apply and may change over time. Please refer to our Pricing Schedule for any applicable fees.

Ready to get started? 
Both Zelle and External Funds Transfer are located under the Move Money tab within NEFCUOnline. Zelle is also available on the NEFCU Mobile App for the convenience of sending other people money from your mobile device. Once you register and accept the terms and conditions for these services, you’ll be ready to start enjoying the security and convenience of these money movement services. Simply follow the online prompts to start adding external accounts and contacts.

We’re introducing Zelle – Connecting people through money! Whether it’s Sunday morning brunch with friends, hitting the beach, a sightseeing car ride, or a round of golf – money is a part of that flow. So it should move fast and far! Let Zelle make this happen.

It’s Fast – Delivery is typically within minutes between enrolled users.¹

It’s Safe – Access Zelle from your online banking account or mobile app.

It’s Easy – No need to reenter your information, it is all there.

It’s Useful – Send money to nearly anyone that you know and trust.²

To start sending money to friends, family, and those you know and trust simply log in to NEFCUOnline and click on the Move Money tab.

1. Select Send Money with Zelle®.
2. Accept terms and conditions.
3. Select the account you want to use.
(If you used Popmoney, your other enrollment information (name, email address/U.S. mobile number) will automatically transfer to Zelle after you complete your quick one-time enrollment).
4. Review your information. Done!

External Funds Transfer is a secure online money transfer service that allows you to move money between your NEFCU accounts and accounts you own at other financial institutions.

Adding an external account is simple. Just enter the required account details (account number and routing number) and then follow the online prompts to validate your ownership of the external account.

Features include:  

  • Quickly and securely transfer funds between your NEFCU accounts and other accounts you own.
  • Add up to five external accounts.
  • Establish one-time, scheduled or recurring transfers.
  • Choose (within limitations) the delivery speed to meet your needs: Standard (three business days) and Next Day (one business day).
